BOOTLEGS
In defiance of every known copyright law, bootleg recordings of Alan Clayson have been circulating since 1977. These contain principally in-concert items and others taped with the expected variable sound quality from radio performances.
Two of the most recent are MATINEE (CD) and GHOSTLY TALKING HEADS (CD). There’s also MESSTHETICS #7: UK '78-82 "D.I.Y." BANDS: "C" – a border-line case in that permission was sought to use a Clayson item on this twenty-four track ‘various artists’ compilation.
